A little about me ........

I began my career as a bright-eyed, bushy-tailed environmental scientist in the emerging field of site remediation—what we now call contaminated land. The work was fascinating. I led efforts to understand how explosives and ordnance manufacturing impacted the environment and helped shape future legislative responses. We cleaned up sites to make way for residential development. I carry many stories from that time, and they continue to shape how I think about environmental consequence and accountability.

After having my two beautiful children, I spent over 20 years with bp, building environmental reporting and compliance frameworks from infancy to robustness. My work spanned Australia, New Zealand, the Southwest Pacific, and Papua New Guinea—evolving from meeting legislative requirements to identifying opportunities for genuine environmental improvement.

When I left bp, I wasn’t done. I founded EAGER Environmental to continue making a difference, bringing my experience to sectors including mining, quarrying, natural gas, and electricity supply.

I’m not happy to see climate change unfolding—whether driven by natural cycles or human activity, its impacts are undeniable. But I’m encouraged by the growing desire to act. There’s been a shift from reactive compliance to proactive climate leadership, and I’m proud to be part of that movement.

Like many, I want to help. And I do so by bringing clarity, credibility, and consequence to environmental and carbon reporting—ensuring that every decision is backed by sound data, clear commentary, and a defensible audit trail.
